It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Ann Smith of Cherryville, North Carolina, who passed away on March 16, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Cramer Slaughter; her husband Terry Thalas Smith; and her siblings, Jake Slaughter, Cramer "Buddy" Slaughter, Jane Carpenter and Evon McKinney.
She is survived by: her son James R. Smith (Wendy); her sisters, Carolyn Lail and Kathy Smith; her grandchildren, Amanda Smith, Mitchell Smith (Logan) and Terry Holmes; and her great grandchild Evelynn Smith.
