She was predeceased by: her parents, Dalton Britton Tate and Viola Hamrick Tate; and the father of her children Donald Richard Sarvis. She is survived by: her sons, Richard Sloan Sarvis of Cherryville and Sidney Sarvis of Bessemer City; and her grandson Clint Biddix.
