She was predeceased by: her parents, George Summers and Jewelle Ashworth Summers; her husband Major James David Betts; her son Michael Betts; and her daughter-in-law Rita Betts.
She is survived by: her son David Betts, Jr. (Luz) of Dunedin, Fla.; her grandson Duke Betts; and her brother George Summers Jr. (Pat) of Waco.
