He is survived by: his parent Daisy Hopper Petty; his sons, Raymond Petty of Shelby, Freddie Lee Petty, David Petty of Shelby and Able Lee Petty of Cherryville, NC; his sisters, Alice Thompson of Gaffney, Nellie Hollis of Gaffney, Gracie Smith of Gaffney, Minnie Smith of Mooresboro, NC and Lula Lee of Shelby; and his aunt Billie Sue McFadden of Gaffney.
