With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Allan Black (Cherryville, North Carolina), who passed away on May 24, 2022 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Howard "Will" Black and Elena Belle Haynes Black; his brother Howard Black; and his brothers-in-law, Glenn Angel and Jack Scism.
He is survived by: his wife Becky Beam Black; his children, Jason Black (Julie) and Dana Sturgill (Allen); his siblings, Doug Black (Rita) of Cherryville, Ann Pfeifer of Cherryville, Betty Sue Scism of Waco, Margie Angel of Waco and Debbie Rainwater (Doug) of Cherryville; his sister-in-law Inez Black of Salisbury; his grandchildren, Logan, Leah, Josie, Jeb, Luann, Lawson and Anita; and his great grandchild Elena. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
