It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Velma Jane (Wolfe) Taylor (Cherokee, North Carolina), who passed away on November 10, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Wallace Wolfe and Mary Ann Tooni Wolfe; her son Robert Christopher; and her sisters, Regina Wolfe, Emily Smith, Geraldine Walkingstick and Frances Wolfe.
She is survived by: her siblings, Hazel Howell of Cherokee, Penny Rosillio-Perez of Cherokee, Donna Sue Wolfe of Cherokee, Bill Wolfe of Georgia, Emily West and Carolyn Bowman; her adoptive children, Jim Pritchard, Alan Fugate and Susan Anderson; her son Bo Taylor; her daughter-in-law Esther; and her grandchildren, Cia Walayla Monette (Brian), Abigail Salalisi and Naomi Watiyeli. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to the Cherokee Children's Home.
