He was predeceased by: his parents, John Goodson and Leona Locust Goodson; his nieces, Silvia Ann Goodson and Karla Buchanan; and his grandparents, Homer Locust, Hazel Locust, John Fannon Goodson and Lucy Inman Shuler.
He is survived by: his children, Dustin Goodson of Waynesville, Leona Goodson of Rockhill, SC and Willa Goodson of Rockhill, SC; his grandson Caine Goodson of Waynesville; his sisters, Patricia Hoyle (Jimmy) and Kathy Deaver (Frank); and also, Robert Lee Goodson of Waynesville, Steve Richard Goodson (Barbara) of Waynesville, John Michael Goodson of Sylva and Randy Darrell Goodson (Cindy) of Waynesville. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews Tony was a small business owner who specialized in flooring with his brother.
