She was predeceased by: her parents, James Mathis and Anna Lee Mathis (Crowe); and her sister Rosanna Barnes. She is survived by: her daughter Corina Lynn Zell (Otter); her stepdaughters, Stephanie Dawn Wiggins (Wilnoty) of Cherokee, NC and Clarissa Lynn Wilnoty of Cherokee, NC; and her siblings, Jamie Mathis of Cherokee, NC, Donald Mathis of Gastonia, NC and Freddie Burns of Maryland. She is also survived by Eight Grandchildren and many other family members.
