It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julia Inez Welch (Cherokee, North Carolina), who passed away on August 30, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jonah H. Welch and Olive M. Welch. She is survived by: her boyfriend Ronald Allison; her children, Will, Gene Cornwell, Elizabeth Edwards and Donna Cornwell; her siblings, Tommy K, Johnny Thurman, Terry, Ken and Bernice Lambert; and her grandchildren, Brian and Elizabeth.
