He was predeceased by: his father Henry Queen Littlejohn Jr.; and his niece Aubrey Littlejohn. He is survived by: his siblings, Henry "Moose" Littlejohn (Spirit), Joni Martin (Eddie) and Jasmine Littlejohn (Brandon); his mother Debra Starnes (Buddy); his aunts, Mildred Cisaneros, Annie Cucumber and Annie Oocumma; and his uncle Levi Oocumma.

“John was a pleasure to coach but a treasure to be around. He brought positive energy to all that were around him and always kept his smile through any situation. He is gone from us too early and will be deeply missed. John was a heck of a football player that made Cherokee and WCU proud but he was an even better man.
