He is survived by: his mother Myrtle Bird; his wife Darlene "Squinnie" Bird; his children, Jonna, John Jr, Grace and Kirsh; and his siblings, Bernadette, Bernadine, Penny, Willian, Freddie and Will Bird. He is also survived by several grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
