He was predeceased by: his father Garfield Postell; and his sisters, Elizabeth Trantham and Josie Cutshaw. He is survived by: his wife Glenda Passmore Postell; his children, Jacklyn Postell Smith (Loren) of Charlotte and Josh Postell (Brooke) of Andrews; his grandchildren, Tanner, Taylor Postell, Ridge and Giada Smith; and his siblings, Dale Garrison of Hayesville, Becky Cutshaw of Andrews, Susan Guffey (Steve) of Knoxville, Tennessee, George Postell (Trish) of Andrews and Pat Postell (Margie) of Andrews. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
