It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard Winford Allen of Cherokee, North Carolina, who passed away on May 25, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elden Burlin and Ada Bell Davis Allen; and his siblings, Frances Picklesimer, Willard Allen, Duel and Luther Burgess.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Hamby Allen; his children, Sherry Graves of Hiwassee Dam and Jonathan Howard Allen of Hiwassee Dam; his brother Tim Allen (Linda) of LaFayette Georgia; and his stepsister Sarah Johnson of Ringgold, Georgia..
