He was predeceased by: his parents, Gay Murphy and Lottie Greene Murphy. He is survived by: his siblings, J. D. Murphy, Glenn Murphy, Grady Murphy and Corena Wilcox; his wife Doris Wilma Graham Murphy; his children, Bruce Murphy (Jennifer), Phillip Murphy (Stephanie), Kevin Murphy (Dana), Sue Lynn Ledford (Ronnie) and Rhonda Leblanc (Stephen); and his siblings, Calvin Murphy, Olen Murphy and Katherine Rose. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
