He was predeceased by: his father Nick A. Toineeta; his daughter Cheyenne Nicole Toineeta; and his niece Harlee Marie Harrison. He is survived by: his mother Marie Hornbuckle Harrison; his wife Sheila Standingdeer; his children, Storm Toineeta, Andrea Standingdeer (Jake), Elisha Wildcat (Lok), Evan Standingdeer and Eveie Welch; his sisters, Brenda Toineeta Pipestem (Wilson), Susan Toineeta and Terri Harrison; his grandchildren, Makaylah Pipestem, Madilyn Bennett, Makensey Bennett, Makailah Oocumma, Byron Locust, Arthey Locust and Layla Locust; his great grandchildren, Adalyn Rose Roberson and Zaylee Gomez; and his pet Razzle. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Crisp Funeral Home (669 US-19, Bryson City, NC 28713). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
