He was predeceased by: his parents, Manco Murphy and Ida Sutton Murphy; and his siblings, Richard Murphy, Annie Hardin (Merle) and Hazel Abernathy.
He is survived by: his significant other Wanda Phillips Murphy; his children, Jeffrey Lynn Murphy, Rebecca Lynn Murphy (Angela) and Kimberly Ann Murphy (Angela); and his grandchildren, Bailey Murphy, Aiden Zachary Murphy and Ida Rose Murphy.
