With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ella Gwyn Jackson of Cherokee, North Carolina, born in Haleyville, Alabama, who passed away on February 4, 2021 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, David Marion Gentry and Hester Leigh Shoemake Gentry; her husband Bruce Kennith Jackson; her daughter Lisa Jackson; her siblings, Clarice Crumbley, Johnnie Coleman, Janice Todd and Jimmy Gentry; and her brother-in-law Everette Jackson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Pam Hatchett (Mike) of Tualatin, OR and Kathy Tague (Jeff); her grandchildren, Dylan Morgan, Kyle Morgan of Cherokee, NC, Ashley Hatchett (Travis), Colby Hatchett, Kennith Bounds (Becky) of Omaha, NE and Katie Murnan (Tom); her niece Ellen Todd Hill; her great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Brayden, Kyler and Harrison; her sisters, Jackie Roberts of Atlanta, GA and Ruby Wiggins (John); and her siblings-in-law, Malcolm Jackson (Estelle) and Agnes Jackson of Centralhatchee, GA.
Because of the Covid pandemic, the family will have a memorial service at a later date.
