It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Ann Edwards of Cherokee, North Carolina, born in Jamestown, Virginia, who passed away on July 12, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her brothers, Gene Cornwell and William Cornwell. She is survived by: her husband Lee Edwards; her mother Inez Welch Soap; her daughters, Sandi Cox, Krystal Long and Hayley Edwards; her stepdaughter April Edwards; her sons, Andrew Edwards and David Edwards; her stepson Scott Daniels; her sister Elsie Biddix; and her close friend George. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other special family members.
