He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn; his siblings, Dale, Teddy Rose and Nancy Long; and his grandson Jonathan Kalen.
He is survived by: his children, Donna Dubinskas (Andy) of Acworth, Jeff Rose (Judy) of Warrenton, Beth Miratsky (Jerry) of Swain County, Rob (Michelle) of Swain County and Leslie Kalen (Phil) of Rogersville; and his siblings, Ray and Vivian Kieff (Dan). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
