It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Cook of Cherokee, North Carolina, who passed away on August 24, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Randall Edgar and Hazel Gertrude Gibson Cook; his sister Lucille Cook Stiles; and his son-in-law Glenn Carson. He is survived by: his wife Donna Cook; his daughters, Tiffany Cook Carson of Murphy and Laura Cook Plemmons (Jacob) of Murphy; his grandchildren, Hannah O'Neal Carson, Glenn Frederick Carson III (Tarah), Hunter Carson, Peyton Plemmons, Tyler Plemmons and Laiken Plemmons; and his siblings, Peggy Roberson (Johnny) of Murphy, Nancy Martin (Richard) of Murphy, Max Cook (Carolyn) of Sylva, Howard Cook (Glenda) of Waynesville and Jim Cook (Mary Sue) of Murphy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
