He was predeceased by: his father Bill Thompson. He is survived by: his mother Patricia Thompson of Murphy; his wife Kate Thompson of Andrews; his daughters, Ashlyn, Gwyn and Danielle; and his siblings, Debi Mills, Dana Reda and David.
The family asked that those who attend wear a mask.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made for his daughters to the Derrick Thompson Memorial Fund at United Community Bank.
