It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Sue Palmer Hogsed of Cherokee, North Carolina, who passed away on May 21, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Holt Palmer and Dixie Palmer; the father of her children Don Hogsed; and her siblings, Holt Palmer, Jr., Rev. Ronnie Palmer and Linda Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Hogsed (Dawn) of Murphy, NC and Angie Gardner (John) of Clyde, NC; her siblings, Jim Palmer (Sherry) of Murphy, NC and Betty Price (Dale) of Murphy; her sisters-in-law, Anna Ruth Palmer of Murphy and Barbara Palmer of Murphy; her grandchildren, Tyler Gardner (Neekou), Jordan Mixon (Zach), Garrin Hogsed (Jenna) and Elizabeth King (Brian); her great grandchildren, Ralston, Hadley Hogsed, Preslee Mixon, Reaganand Riley King and Cyrus Gardner; and her close friend Bill Rose. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
