He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack C. Davis and Roxie R. Rattler; and his siblings, Johnny Davis, Glenn "Dude" Davis, Mark "Pete" Davis and Betty "Mit" Davis.
He is survived by: his daughter Caressa "Gouch" Davis of Cherokee, NC; his siblings, Will Davis of Cherokee, Vera "Sam" Rickman of Cherokee and Jacqueline "Jackie" Davis of Cherokee; and his close friend Nellie Axelong of Reidsville, NC. He is also survived by seven Grandchildren and three Great-grandchildren.
