It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Virginia (Rose) Lambert (Cherokee, North Carolina), who passed away on January 4, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Tillman Rose and Mildred Alice Warren Rose; her children, Douglas Allen Lambert and Debra Louise Lambert; her siblings, Donald Edward Rose, Benjamin "Teddy" Rose, Albert Dale Rose and Nancy Rose Long; and her daughter-in-law Mary Rodriguez Lambert.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph "Joe" Gaston Lambert Jr.; her children, Joseph "Joey" R. Lambert and Lindsay Robin Lambert; her grandchildren, Jessica Rose Lambert, Mariah Carey Lambert, Sierra Davis (Justin), Simone McDowell, Gabriel Simcox, John Hall (Jessica), Jordan Sampson (Sasha), Anthony Smith, Tyler Toineeta and Curtis Price; her daughter-in-law Kimlyn Sneed Lambert of Cherokee; her siblings, Phyllis Rose Coons of Cherokee, Mary Rose Booth (Bill) of Cherokee, Vivian "Lib" Rose Kieffer (Dan) of Cherokee, Linda Rose Carter of Cherokee, Brenda Rose Johnson (Larry) of Clyde, NC and Edwin Ray Rose (Cathy); her sister-in-law Marie Arch Rose; and her niece Sherri Booth of Cherokee.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Alice's favorite charity, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
