He is survived by: his children, Shanetta Covington, Tyrone Covington, Gerald Covington, Aaron Covington and Shawana Covington; his grandchildren, Lorenzo Jr., Daqualen, Kaniyah, Ta'hir, Jahdev and Wynter; and his niece Oshawa Stroud.
