She is survived by: her children, Wanda Scales, Winston Scales and Edward "Teddy" Scales; her grandchildren, Gervard Weathers, Cherish Glenn, Jewel Glenn, Armani Glenn, Jacoby Berry and Braden Alverson; her great grandchild Anorah Gregory; her siblings, Robert Scales of Albemarle, NC, Margaret Brown of Charlotte, NC and Rennett Blair of Charlotte, NC; and her sisters-in-law, Sara Scales of Jamaica, NY and Arthelia "Ann" Hampton of Hillsborough, NC.
