It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Fred Thomason of Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on July 1, 2024, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John S. Thomason and Clara B. Thomason; and his brother Steve Thomason (Pete). He is survived by: his wife Betty C. Thomason; his children, Dr. Michael H. Thomason (Liz) and Susan Thomason DuRant; his grandchildren, Lauren Thomason, John Thomason and Leigh Hale (Seb); and his great grandchild Harper Hale. He is also survived by several nieces and a nephew.
