He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton Ernest Cardwell and Mary Lillian Miller; and his wife Bonnie Jean Conrad Cardwell. He is survived by: his daughter Vicki Cousar (Don) of Statesville; his grandchildren, Kenny Cousar and Karen Osborne; and his sister Betty Cardwell. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
