William Pendleton left this world on November 4, 2024 at the age of 83, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. Though William Pendleton may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those William Pendleton touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his wife Gwendolyn McAnally Eubank; and his parents, Marius Eubank and Mary Eubank of Richmond Virginia. He is survived by: his children, William Wesley (Bunny) of Charlotte, Susan Sheridan (Craig) of Charlotte and Charles McAnally (Michelle) of Charlotte; and his siblings, Charles Wickham Eubank of Lake City and Mary Floyd Williams of Glen Allen. He is also survived by his ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home (3700 Forest Lawn Dr, Weddington, NC 28104). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Christ Covenant Church (800 Fullwood Ln, Matthews, NC 28105). A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Historic Matthews Cemetery.
