He was predeceased by: his parents, John Huitt Parker and Dorothy Beaty Parker; his grandparents, Keith McCord Beaty of Charlotte and Madeline Walker Beaty of Charlotte; and his sister Dianne Parker Davis of Blythewood.

He is survived by: his nephew Ashton Thomas Davis; and his brother-in-law Robert Thomas Davis of Blythewood.

Memorials may be made to the Levine Children's Hospital at Atrium Health in Charlotte.
