With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Irwin Ritchie (Charlotte, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 18, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Lindale Ritchie and Mary Tidy Irwin; his son William Irwin Ritchie Jr.; and his siblings, Pollack L Ritchie, Sarah Miller, Nancy Mann, Effie Gray and Betty McKern.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Gilbert of Lincolnton, NC; his children, Deborah Morrison (Randy) of Monroe, NC and Gail Whitney (Cliff) of Cumming, GA.; and his grandchildren, Bruce Morrison, Amanda Morrison, Elijah Whitney and Sierra Whitney.
