He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Millard Ely and Estelle Ely (Reasor); his sister Rosemary Jetton of Hobbs; his son-in-law Mikel Farr of Charlotte, NC.; his wife Reka Ann Akens; his daughters, Jennifer Ely of Apex, NC and Leisha Farr of Charlotte, NC; his granddaughter Caitlin Collins of Fort Worth; and his sister Janice Collier of Englewood, Florida..

Redge will be cremated and due to COVID concerns wanted no funeral.
