He was predeceased by: his mother Cathy Diane Dixon; his grandparents, Betty Lou Barnes, Roy and Geneva Owens; and his stepbrother Todd Freeman.
He is survived by: his father Jimmy Ray Owens (Janice) of Kings Mountain; his son James Dustyn Hunter Bell (Annie) of Iron Station; his stepbrother Allan Freeman; his sisters, Somer Lawrence (Mike) of Denver and Kelli Huss (Joe) of Gastonia; his niece Georgia Touvell; his nephew Bryson Lawrence; and his pet Ace. He is also survived by other family members and more friends.
