It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wendell Ray Martin of Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on March 20, 2025, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Wendell Ray shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Wendell Ray farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He always answered "Yes, Lord" whenever he was asked to be of service to the congregation, up to and including when the church had to close its doors in May 2022 resulting from the long-lasting effect of COVID on church attendance.
