He is survived by: his wife Aundra Spencer; his children, Welton Spencer Jr. (Jessica), Sarah Spencer Reid (Jerome), Marcus Gladden, Jordan Spencer and Matthew Spencer; his grandchildren, Amari Crump of Charlotte, NC, Ava Gladden of Charlotte, NC, Jerome Reid Jr. of Charlotte, NC, Ace Gladden of Charlotte, NC, Ava Reid of Charlotte, NC, Welton Spencer III of Charlotte, NC and Baby Reid of Charlotte, NC; his siblings, Arlene Midgett (Henri), Inez Spencer of Columbia, NC, Sharon Smith of Hampton, Virginia and Claude Beaufort of Columbia, NC; and his siblings-in-law, Victor Ware of Atlanta, GA, Victor Banks of Columbia, NC, Merlene Simpson, Freda Simpson of Columbia, NC and Stacy Wright Wilson (Wayne) of Atlanta, GA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
