He is survived by: his father Joe Chaplin, Jr. (Emma Louise Wilson Chaplin); his wife Mary Carol; his aunts, Juliette Wilson of Timmonsville and Thelma Milton of Beaufort; his uncle Roosevelt Chaplin of Walterboro; and his godchildren, Devin, Kierston and Sharon Wilson. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
