It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Toni Jo Cooke of Charlotte, North Carolina, born in Gastonia, North Carolina, who passed away on May 4, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Toni Jo may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl T. Dagenhart and Melba D. Dagenhart; and her son Charles Brian Cooke. She is survived by: her husband Bruce; her son Chris; and her brother Tommy.
Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers to Newell Presbyterian Church in her honor.
