It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Thomas Marshall Holland in Charlotte, North Carolina, born in Mount Holly, North Carolina, who passed away on January 5, 2024, at the age of 104, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis F. Holland and Nell Rankin Holland; his wife Frances Kelly Holland of Mount Holly; and his siblings, Frank Holland, Betty Holland Smith, Louise Holland Thompson and Nancy Holland Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Camille Holland Carruth (Joseph E. Carruth) and Willis Marshall Holland (Christine Hiestand Holland) of Charleston; and his grandchildren, Rev. Thomas Carruth, Elizabeth Carruth Barfoot, Carrie Holland, Dr. Lauren Holland Carter and Craig Bode. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews and other extended family.
