He is survived by: his wife Ann; his sister Frances Rickard; his sister-in-law Virginia Collawn; his children, James Belknap Collawn and Anna Collawn Bowden (MacDonald) of Davidson, NC.; and his grandchildren, Emily, Maggie, Anna Collawn, Snow, Reid and Marianna Bowden. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
