She is survived by: her pet Cocoa; her spouse Raleigh Bynum; her children, Raleigh Bynum II, Zerrick Bynum (Fati) and Monjya Parker (Curtis); her grandchildren, Skylar Manneh, Raleigh Bynum III, Siaka Bynum, Zahra Bynum, Brandon Parker, Aleeya Parker and Jaida Parker; her siblings-in-law, Charles Bynum (Idella) and Agnes King Horne; and her nieces and nephews, Brian Argrett (Cheryl), Erick Crosby (Joyce), Charles Bynum II (Denitra), Elton King (Pamela), Ervin King (Syrena), Billy Wells (Barbara), Willie Wells Jr., Carlton Wells (Clara), Anthony Wells, Tyrone Bynum, Michael Bynum, Hilbert Bynum, Gilbert Bynum, Lisa Ahmed (Zubaid), LeKania Gay, C. Denise King (Jerome), Norma Brice (Phillip), Gwen Mordecai, Sonya Olds (Jacob), Lillian Asberry, Chiniqua Davis and Sheree Bynum.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church-Old (3301 Beatties Ford Rd, Charlotte, NC 28216). A memorial service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
