She was loved and cherished by many people including: her grandchildren, Stella Coleff and Max Coleff of Durham; her siblings, Carolyn Lerner of Myrtle Beach, Lawrence Naumoff of Chapel Hill, Elizabeth McCarthy of Sarasota and Deborah Flynn of Myrtle Beach; and her parents, Dr. Philip Naumoff of Charlotte and Esther Zuckerman Naumoff.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Friends of the Chapel Hill Public Library or the ACLU in Susan's name.
