She was predeceased by: her parents, Mattie Lore and Martin Luther Rhodes; her husband Leonard Wilson Coppala of Charlotte; her son David Ralph Coppala; and her sister Peggy Rhodes LaDew.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Coppala, Lynn Theobald (John), John Coppala and Catherine Choudary; her grandson Michael Theobald; and her great grandchildren, Finley, Jonathan and Drew Theobald. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
