He was predeceased by: his parents, Marian Long Ellis and Nathaniel Gilbert Ellis, Jr.; and his son Dustin Nathaniel Ellis. He is survived by: his daughter Raina Michelle Ellis; his grandchildren, Kane Edward Snider and Kaylee Nicole Ellis Biggs; his siblings, Larry Ellis, David Ellis, Brian Ellis and Deborah Ellis Steelman; his stepmother Pat Ellis; and his stepsister Annette Shanks. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
