With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sotirios Tsilimos of Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on December 5, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Giorgos Tsilimos and Kiriaki Pitsikoulis. He is survived by: his children, Michael Tsilimos and Kiki Tsilimos; his son-in-law Max Dicce; his grandson Giorgos Maximus Tsilimos Dicce of Charlotte, NC.; and his siblings, Mixalis Tsilimos, Stamatis Tsilimos and Stella Deleas. He is also survived by his family and friends.

“I met Sam and his brother Michael in South Dakota Pheasant hunting. I am of Greek heritage. We live in the Mobridge, SD. We were instant friends. Even though our lives never passed before, it was like we were of the same cloth. He was a delightful character full of life and laughter. While on one of there trips they put on a Greek fest and feed over 100 people’s. His dog Rico was his favorite hunting partner.. We talk of Sam every hunting season and will continue to. He will be deeply missed!”
