We are sad to announce that on February 19, 2025, at the age of 88, Shirley Jean Williams of Charlotte, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend William Johnson and Cora Parker Johnson; her husband Grady William, Sr.; her children, Grady Williams Jr., Cynthia Bryant and Kathie Turner; her siblings, Mildred Maree, Glennie Kelly, Rachel Eddins, Brady Johnson, Johnny Johnson, William B Johnson, Grady Johnson, Arthur Johnson and Limon Johnson; and her husband Steve.
She is survived by: her sister Rochelle Williams; her siblings-in-law, Pat McGuirt and James Harley Williams Jr.; her grandchildren, Stephanie Hill, Danny Packett Jr., Michelle Bryant (Ben) and Star Turner; and her great grandchildren, Jonathan, Justin Bryant, Jasmine and Autumn Packett.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hankins and Whittington Funeral Service (1111 East Blvd, Charlotte, NC 28203). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
