Shirley Pittman Carson Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 1, 2024, at the age of 76, Shirley Pittman Carson (Charlotte, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Betty Pittman and Grady Pittman. She is survived by: her husband Melvin Douglas Carson (Mel); her sons, Douglas Carson, Jr. (Carol), George M. Carson, II (Erin) and John W. Carson; her sisters, Gloria Overbay (Larry) and Vickey Christenbury (Charles); her sister-in-law Barbara Brown (Charlie); and also, Jacob Parks Carson, Hadley Mae Carson and Leo Campbell Carson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Hornets Nest Region Foundation, Inc. or to a Charity of your choice.
