We are sad to announce that on April 12, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Shirley Knox Lueke of Charlotte, North Carolina, born in Mount Mourne, North Carolina. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Clifford Knox and Mary Honeycutt Knox; her former husband Frederick Lawrence Lueke; and her siblings, Teddy Knox, Boyce Knox, Eva Knox Brawley, Ralph Knox, Ruth Knox Stone and Celeste Knox Freeman.

She is survived by: her children, Lawrence Lueke (Beverly) of Charlotte, NC, Gaylynn Lueke of Charlotte, NC, Michael Lueke of Winterville, GA, Charles Lueke (Janet) of Flower Mound, TX and David Lueke (Shelly) of Fayetteville, GA.; and her grandchildren, Aaron Lueke, Emilee Lueke Mickley, Jennifer Lueke, Jonathan Lueke, Mark Lueke, Matthew Lueke and Nathan Lueke. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
