We are sad to announce that on June 14, 2024, at the age of 83, Shirley Jean Wensil of Charlotte, North Carolina, born in Lincolnton, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, David Houser (Dave) and Gracie Houser; her husband Carl Wensil; her former husband Laurence Rockman (Larry); and her siblings, Robert Houser, Minnie H. Laye and Inez Webb.
She is survived by: her children, BeLinda Rockman Wilson (Greg) of Matthews and Bob Rockman (Nancy) of Lincolnton; her grandchildren, Cammy Wilson (Cameron) and James Rockman; her stepgrandson Shane Allen; and her brother David Houser. She is also survived by brothers and sisters; and many loving nieces and nephews.
