She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander B. Couch and Vola Moore Couch of Day, Arkansas.; her husband William O. Carpenter; and her brothers, Junior and Bill Couch.
She is survived by: her children, William Stephen Carpenter of Indian Land, SC, Monica Ann Bittner (Charles) of Orange Park, FL, Leesa Katrina Neal (Zachary) of Charlotte and Mark E. Carpenter (Kimberly) of Charlotte; her sister Mary Owens (Boyce) of Moore, OK; her sisters-in-law, Jetta Peters and Pat Couch; her grandchildren, Justin Carpenter (Samantha), Jared Carpenter (Katie Moore), Jennings Carpenter, Jamison Carpenter, Adison Neal (Lisa), Jordan Bittner, Meredith Bittner and Stephanie Cotten (Matthew); and her great grandchildren, Josephine Carpenter, Lucas Cotten and Miles Bundrick. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
