He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Blanchard and Ruth Gillingham Blanchard; his son Robert Blanchard of Bradenton; his sister Dorothea Foss of Cape Elizabeth; his great grandchild Chance Healey of Manchester; his sister-in-law Linda Blanchard of Willow; and his daughter-in-law Lois Blanchard of Asheville.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Campbell Blanchard; his daughters, Susan Costantini (Steve) of Charlotte and Shelley Stewart (Jerry) of Morganton; and his brother Dexter Blanchard of Willow. He is also survived by six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; one great great grandchild and many loving nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
